Z

Born in 1994, Shahera Zahari has been writing since her early teens. She grew up in a hopelessly small town somewhere in Terengganu and raised up between places and now based in Kuala Lumpur. This self-taught designer has an insatiable passion for adventures. Often labelled herself as a writer who designs, she holds a Law Foundation Programme from the most prestigious Law School in Malaysia.

Graduated with Vice-Chancellor’s Award both in Bachelor of Communication and Media (Hons.) and Diploma of Communication and Media, she is now sitting on her own desk in an award-winning advertising agency. Juggling time between work and feeding up her social media along with writing/editing for independent magazines and websites, Shahera also photographs for project-based assignments as well. This is a place where she allows herself to explore more her inner sides for styling, her passion for writing as well as travel documentation and video making.

INVITATION CARD

An invitation card requested by Atisya and her husband for their wedding in Kuala Lumpur Lake Garden with a concept of industrial minimalist with a classy touch.

This invitation card is later printed on a hard art card with matte finishing in order to leave the raw industrial experience for the recipient.

BOOK COVER

In the early development of a faculty project, I was asked to produce a design to speak out my communication school in a form of notebook cover design, and this is my most favourite design by far.

I went with black and white colour palette in order to save up the cost to produce this notebook. The ancient Greek illustrations speak a volume on how this faculty has stand for the longest time in decades projecting the idea of prestigious and well-known communication school.

EVENT POSTER

The first draft of an event poster by Oceansation in 2017 produced to give them an idea of how the concept of the music festival being projected on media.

The music festival was planned to be held in Redang Island thus the idea behind bright colours play was intended to strike public attention.
